Recently, JMK (JUMAIK) has made bold innovations in watch strap materials, sourcing a range of new eco-friendly bio-based materials including corn husks, apple peels, mushroom leather, and cactus leather.

1. How are these materials transformed into watch straps?

These materials are not directly applied to the straps. Instead, advanced technologies extract their natural fibers, which are then blended with eco-friendly bio-resins to produce high-quality "vegetable-based leather."

Diverse presentations: Through various embossing techniques and plant-based dyeing technology, the R&D team has created distinct styles for these leathers. Some retain the original matte texture, while others mimic premium lychee grain or delicate calfskin patterns, with colors ranging from natural earth tones to vibrant artistic hues.

Buckle matching: To maintain overall luxury and durability, JMK has paired these eco-friendly straps with high-standard stainless steel buckles. Available in brushed silver, vacuum-plated black, or rose gold (matching the leather color), the buckles ensure eco-friendly materials deliver the texture of traditional luxury goods.
